Our Sponsors

Sound Sound Family Formal serves as a fundraiser for The Co-Lab, an upcoming, community-driven, family-minded project co-founded by The Pod Works and Tacoma Children’s School.

We are proud and grateful to partner with an amazing group of high-quality, local businesses. Our community sponsors help cover the cost of SSFF and the opening expenses for The Co-Lab. Please take a moment to learn more about our sponsors!

The Co-Lab

Opening in 2020, The Co-Lab is a new co-working and event space that will be inclusive to all parents and offer on-site, drop-in childcare, enrichment classes, and workshops by Tacoma Children’s School.

We believe this revolutionary combination of workspace and childcare will provide South Sound families new opportunities to create a healthy work/life balance and family-centered lifestyle. Parents can enroll their kids in drop-in art and science classes while they work on-site, attend a meeting, or run errands. Parents of young children can work while their babies and toddlers play nearby. Packages and plans are flexible to fit each family’s needs.

Through this space, local employers can also provide their employees with flexible work and maternity/paternity leave options, keeping more parents in the workforce and encouraging a society and economy supportive of local families. Businesses around the South Sound will have the opportunity to host events and classes in The Pod Works co-working space and offer childcare to attendees in the adjacent kids' room.
